Demographic shows penchant for online and mobile purchases
The US Hispanic demographic is on the leading edge of adopting mobile technology, and their preferences for travel booking channels have important implications for travel marketers.
“De Vacaciones: US Hispanics Vacation Trends 2012,” conducted through RedMas’ network of mobile sites, found that Hispanics prefer to spend their vacations with family and at personally significant locations. According to the poll of 2,171 bilingual respondents, 57% go on vacation at least once a year, 14% travel about twice a year, and 5% take off more than three times a year.
